Posting a quick "we still exist" note as we move in and get used to our new place pre-internet.
We moved in this weekend and are quickly getting stuff shelved and hung and arranged to make our little place resemble a home. Katie has been very busy already, and it has been fun coming home the last couple of days to a kitchen or a bedroom all unpacked and organized. She just gets in there and doesn't stop until it's done! I only could dream of having her follow-thru!
We have already noticed this amazing sense of calm that has happened in the past couple of mornings and evenings. I guess us Northern Friscos are a pretty chilled out bunch, and we have enjoyed the quiet and the conversation. I have at worst a 20 min trip door to door from home to work each way, so my 8:00am leave time has become 8:30, allowing me to do the 8am Clara wake-time/baba time, and have an extra hour/day of time with her, which is worth everything!
