Tidbits from the Life and Times of Clara

Here is a list of the things that fill Clara's little life:

- Clara likes healthy food, not junk. I tried to give her mac and cheese with peas (you know, for Nutrition) and she picked out all the peas and wouldn't touch the mac and cheese. She prefers meat - pork, chicken, even pot roast! and veggies, though she has been known to really like her graham crackers. At Grammie's and GPD's on Sunday she did get her first Dorito which she Loved - along with her chili (are babies supposed to eat chili?!)

- Clara got croup for the first time but, praise God, it was Minor even though I freaked out and took her to the E.R. I know. But, whilst she was sick she watched her First Video - Veggie Tales Songs (or something - I like to watch it sometimes without her because it is Ridiculously Cute).

- If Mike and I are laughing at the dinner table, Clara likes to join in just for kicks.

- Clara likes to throw the bunny for Sadie.

- Clara's All Time favorite activity is looking at books - we like the ones with pictures that she can point at for me to name and books that have flaps for lifting.

- We love to go to the Meijer or Target or book store and look for other kids and then Scream at them by way of Hello.

- Clara is very good at looking at but not touching the Christmas tree.

- She is also Very Obedient - freakishly obedient.

- Clara loves it when Mike blows bubbles for her in the bathtub.

- Clara really likes to Meow - especially when she sees a kitty (picture or live) but also just for fun, mostly in the grocery store.

- Clara has this little scooter pushy thing, right? Whenever she pushes it into a wall or a table she signs please (and says muh?) for us to help her out. So sweet and polite.

- Clara really likes to clean her toys up - sometimes she'll pull all her toys out and then put them away, then pull them out and put them away - you know, just for fun.

- Clara is starting to use utensils - not very successfully yet, but starting. She'll hold her spoon in one hand and eat with her other.

- When Mike puts his coat on to go to work, Clara will start waving and saying bye-bye in this super cute high soft little voice. (I have to remember to get that on video.)
