Spring is Here - for a few days, at least

Our first trip to the park in months. Clara squealed and giggled in that swing like I have never heard before. I think that the thaw has given her Hope, too!

We have had the most Extraordinary thaw this week. And with it comes Hope. I tell you guys, nothing beats a thaw when you've been freezing your caboose off for months. When you can actually see grass, when you wake up to the sound of water dripping off your roof, when you can feel the warmth from the sun. Hope, I tell you. Do you ever feel like God just gives you the perfect encouragement, prefect perspective? That is So what this thaw is for me. A reminder that the pain and struggle of this world is temporary and that we have unimaginable beauty and peace waiting for us. That is what this thaw reminds me of - right when I am in the midst of needing a reminder.

brushing her hands off after one of her many falls - the mulch was filled with potholes!

My mom got Clara this tutu a year (or more) ago and Clara has Refused to wear it. Screaming anytime I brought it near to here. Well, now, the time has come that she is nuts for it. Here she is in her new favorite hangout in the kitchen helping me bake.

Fun with Pipecleaners

It's Nana in sunny Florida. Love the pics! Can't wait to see my little ballerina. Yes, it's sunny and 80 degrees down here today. I do believe that we're in our Spring now. Feb., March = Spring. April, May, June, July, Aug., Sept., Oct. = Summer down here!! :(

Love, Nana
