School's out, school's out, symphony let the Frisco's out!

So, today, is Mike's last day with the MOSC! And, the work he is doing for his last day? Proctoring the audition to find my replacement. The orchestra has hired Mike's replacement and, by the end of the day, will have found mine as well. It's the end of an era - or something. It's so strange to think that life is going to keep going on down here without us. We've seen so many people come and go these last four years, and we've always been the ones staying behind. So, to be the ones leaving is just - Strange. I know that this storyline in my life - the orchestra part of my time in Midland - has been tumultuous, emotional, frustrating as well as fun, slap happy (hello WTW rehearsals fall '05), and rich in newly discovered and rediscovered friends. I Am So Thankful ... for All of it.

Okay, on to something Silly.
