So we made it up to Chicago. My Explorer did great, and Clara did AWESOME, and we made it in two days. Katie's folks are really being very gracious allowing us to stay with them while we set up shop in Elgin.
I, however, ended up in the hospital! Sunday about mid-day I began getting horrible pains in my lower stomach, and finally, by 6pm, I reluctantly agreed with Katie to go to the ER. After a CAT Scan and a bunch of pain, the diagnosis was in - appendicitis. I went into the OR this morning and had my appendix removed, and am feeling much better this evening, save for some soreness, which is minimal, since the surgeon was able to to it with three tiny incisions and cameras and all that stuff.

Mike it is good to see that you and you look smokin hot in that hospital gown. All of us in the Voskamp house miss you and are praying for you and your family. Get some good rest and God Bless.

Mike, I am glad to hear yall made it okay. I am so sorry that you had to have surgery, but I am glad that it went good. We miss yall already, take care. We will keep yall in our prayers.
