At the Shedd

standing right over the dolphins

When Nana was in town, we all went into the Big City to visit the Shedd Aquarium! It was Amazing - completely insane (we forgot to factor in that Monday, being a school holiday, would be one of the Busiest days of the year at the Shedd - like I said, insane), but really fun and cool and amazing! We saw so many things. Here's a brief list: Dolphins!, Beluga whales (and a Baby beluga whale - swim so wild and you swim so free), penguins, sharks (even saw the kind that looks like it has a saw for a head), star fishes, anemones, all kinds of tropical fish that live in coral reefs - some of which appeared to be electric, and stingrays. Really Cool.

The Shedd puts on a great dolphin show. They built the dolphin tank next to a wall of windows that face directly onto Lake Michigan - a sight to behold, for sure. Clara loved the dolphins, loved Clapping for the dolphins, and paid really good attention during the program.

The Dolphin Tank - and that's Lake Michigan through the windows
