Clara's cuteness

I mean, kids are cool. And so Fun! Clara's getting funner and funner every day it seems. A little more independent, seems to have her own idea about how things should go and knows what's going to make her happy. Her little personality is totally blossoming right now and I thought I'd share some of the cuteness.

- I Swear that this morning she was counting her Cheerios. It was in total jibber-jabber but it really might have been counting. She'd pull a cheerio out of her bowl, place it on her tray and say something - then again with an other and an other. She didn't eat them (she was eating other ones, though) and she lined them up in a row. Totally counting, and I'm sticking to my story. (I think I'm turning into my mom who told me that Clara Very Clearly said "fifteen" yesterday. )

- Clara is a Very Good Helper. She throws garbage away, puts socks away, helps carry things, helps make the bed, helps feed Sadie, always cleans up her toys, pushes in chairs, closes doors. Very Helpful!

- She has gotten really good at Peek-a-Boo. Totally covers her eyes and then Mike'll catch her peeking through her fingers. She thinks it is a riot to get caught peeking. Laughs hysterically!

- And, Clara still loves her books. You'll see in the video how I sneaked up on her; it's a bit hard to hear her "reading" because of the music, but her voice is the one that sounds like a bird (low to high). And, she still gets a kick out of sneezing!






- Clara really likes to organize - I guess that's the best thing to call it. If I give her crayons and paper, she has no interest in actually coloring with them, but she Really Likes moving them from one container to another. Same with her shoes - move them from one box to an other. She likes picking up dirty clothes and putting them in the laundry basket...or the garbage can - we're still working on what goes where :)

- AND...at long last, Clara is now Giving Kisses! which is pretty much to Coolest thing ever to get when you're a mom.
