Every day, unless it is totally freezing out, Clara and I like to go on an adventure. Lots of times we go to Target or the grocery store (very adventuresome, I know), but today we explored a new library. New to us and new to the community. It's in Elgin (where Mike works) and is gorgeous and amazing! The kidlet section was "Wow" according to Clara. Not only were there lots of books, but there were bunches of toys and a make believe house complete with kitchen, mailbox, and windows that open and close! There was a great climbing type structure and, the best part?, kids! Not rowdy, crazy kids - but sweet, inquisitive kids. Clara made a friend whose name is Ann by sharing a book with her - so sweet! Totally worth the 20 minute drive and may become our library of choice (although I have a special place in my heart for the little neighborhood library with hand painted pictures from the 70's on the wall).
Now that I've got the video working again, I have more to share with you all! I guess I prefer to do video in volume rather than spread out.
First off: the pudding project on tape. Somewhat long, I know, but Mike thinks the cuts in it are funny and, well, why not?
Mike is so sweet about giving Clara a bath at night and their Favorite time is when he breaks out the Bubbles!
