Some goings on as of late

Clara and her tongue.

So, we woke up this morning to the sweetest of all sweet sounds - Clara oohing and ahhing in her crib. She was using her new super gentle voice and I am pretty sure she was commenting on her feet. She has a tendency as of late to fold herself in half - literally! - work on getting those big, hobbit lookin' feet into her mouth while cooing simultaneously. And, the best part of the morning? She went back to sleep until 8!

The other night, Mike and I did something we loved doing in college - goin' for a drive at night and listening to Delilah (except that in college we listened to Alan Aldman). We packed Clara up in her car seat, got some frozen yogurt, and just drove. And talked. And dreamed. And tried to find a lake, which, as Mike put it, is one of the harder things to find at night in the dark. And SANG - love songs, mostly from the 80's. So fun.

Lane and Clara.............................. Megan, Lane and Clara.

Clara and I went to visit our friends Lane and Megan the other day. (Megan is mere moments away from having a little girl - which, you, as the picture viewer, can't tell because she has strategically hidden her beautiful belly behind the children.)
