Our morning walk

So Clara, Sadie and I went on our morning walk today to the park. Its BEAUTIFUL here - cool, moist, a little cloudy - now that's my kind of weather! And that smell, that after the rain smell where the earth is in the air? Delicious! So, we walk. We throw the ball for Sadie and Clara is amazed at how fast she runs. We swing. We stop and chat with all the old people that walk around the park with us. It's pretty fun.

Well, today is the Last Day of School for MISD. And, our morning walk takes us right past both an elementary and a junior high school. And because it is the Last Day of School, all of the elementary kids were playing outside. Swinging, climbing, running and screaming. Clara could not get enough! If she could double over with laughter I think she would've. Laughing and staring and Laughing. It was so sweet. Makes me want to have a whole gaggle of 'em. A gaggle of children? Is that right? Must be!
